This jar is made of high-grade porcelain that is crafted on a potter's wheel. Once bisque fired, both jar and lid are coated with a semi-translucent celadon glaze that contains crystals and fired to 2200 F.
The jar is microwave, dishwasher-safe, and food-safe. However, it is recommended that the jar be hand washed to prolong its longevity.
